Go! Vermont has everything you need
Ride the Bus to the State House Day is a low-commitment excuse to hop on the bus - let someone else drive for you, save on gas & reduce carbon emissions!
Taking the bus between Montpelier & Burlington for one day saves ~50lbs of CO2!
Experiencing our public transit system first hand is critical to inform discussions of how to best support transportation needs across our rural state.
Pro tips for bus comfort:
Headphones for quiet/music/webinars
Laptop if you want to get some work done
Comfortable walking shoes for the walk from the bus stop to the Statehouse
A sweater/scarf in case it's chilly or for leaning your head against the window without the bumps
We hope to see you on the bus!
