T4VT invites you to "Ride the Bus to the State House Day" in honor of Earth Day

T4VT members will be heading into the Capitol City at the following locations, ready to chat about transportation in Vermont:

• GMT #86 Montpelier Link Express

  • 7:00AM from Burlington Downtown Transit Center → 7:25AM from Richmond P&R

• GMT #83 Waterbury Commuter

  • 7:15AM from Waterbury Train Station → 7:25AM from Red Hen Middlesex

Ride the Bus to the State House Day is a low-commitment excuse to hop on the bus - let someone else drive for you, save on gas & reduce carbon emissions!

Taking the bus between Montpelier & Burlington for one day saves ~50lbs of CO2!

Experiencing our public transit system first hand is critical to inform discussions of how to best support transportation needs across our rural state.

Pro tips for bus comfort:

• Headphones for quiet/music/webinars

• Laptop if you want to get some work done

• Comfortable walking shoes for the walk from the bus stop to the Statehouse

• A sweater/scarf in case it's chilly or for leaning your head against the window without the bumps
